Clara McMahon

Hi! My name is Clara and I'm a third year PhD student in linguistics at the Graduate Center, CUNY. My advisor is Irina Sekerina. I'm also an instructor at Hunter College. 

 

I'm a syntactician, with interests at the syntax-semantics interface and in experimental methods. I'm also interested in semantics, pragmatics, and psycholinguistics. Currently, my work is primarily on negation and aspect in Slavic languages.

I pronounce my name /'klɛɹə məkˈmæn/, but I accept all common variants of my name in English dialects and other languages.
